The Way We Play is an illustrated friendship book for children aged 10 and up, part of the My School Friends series. Your child passes it from one friend to the next, collecting their answers, photos and shared memories in a keepsake of their school friendships.

How it works

Your child fills in their own pages, then gives the book to a friend. Each friend fills in their pages and returns it to your child, ready to be passed to the next friend.

Inside the book

Inside you’ll find space for 20 friends, special pages for teachers, and places for favourite photos and memories. There’s also a birthday calendar and room for inside jokes, soundtracks and must-read books.

The Way We Play

Scenes from school life, hobbies and celebrations invite older children to explore their interests, values and dreams for the future. Playful prompts let friends add their own perspectives, capturing the small moments and shared traditions that make their friendships unique.

A hardcover book made with FSC-certified paper and a scratch-resistant exterior that stands up to being passed between hands.
